GREAT CONTEST, BUT WHERE ARE THE CATS?
I love Funny Photos, but in looking at the past winners archive I'm struck by the complete absence of cat photos. Cats make up a good portion of the entries, but never win. Could there be a dog bias at work here? Maryland
[Editor’s Note: You are right. Only one cat photo has won, July, 2006 (see 2006 winners). The Judges are limited to picking the winners from the 5 photos that receive the most votes. Perhaps the cat owners might want to join a pet forum or discussion group and ask the many members to vote for their photo in order to win.]

We have a new litter of beautiful Labradors due in August. When we adopt our first puppy out to her new family, we'll make a donation to your site. We've won twice in the last year and some months (lol! We enter A LOT). It IS nice to really win ! And REALLY have someone follow through with the prize! PS...I did just think of a pretty good question for you, though... As per contests rules, ANY photo with more than ONE vote per IP address is disqualified. What if someone who does not know you decides to vote on a photo that is winning fairly because they do not want it to win? Perhaps because they want another photo to win? In other words, can anyone at all just unjustifiably disqualify a photo by voting for it a number of times? I love to vote in all contests, regardless if my own is there or not. Of course, if one of ours are up, then I vote ONCE for it, and once only. But, I do wonder... can someone do this???? [Editor’s note: Thank you … we appreciate your kindness and your loyalty in following our contest. Regarding the duplicate votes, only the votes cast unfairly are disqualified. The photo, itself, is not disqualified.]
THIS “IS” FOR REAL!
I've seen my share of so-called 'contests' over the years where the winner turns out to either be fictitious, or worse, the entrants in the contests end up being placed on spam lists (viagra, anyone?).
Let me tell you, this site is the real thing. As a past winner of the funny photos captioning contest, I can honestly say that the contest is genuine, the payouts are for real, and yes, the cheques cleared.
All you have to do is enter your photo or caption, and hope your wit and creativity wins out. Then, at the end of the month, check your in-box for the happy news. Good luck to you all, and a huge THANK YOU to funnyphotoscontest.com for creating such a wonderful site.
